On Tuesday, we drove to the Waimea Canyon lookout. If you ever come to this island, this is a fantastic place to see breathtaking views over the cliffs covered with forests. The distinct color balance makes it stand out from your typical mountain.
Wednesday was a bit more action-packed, as Brady and Marty zip-lined through the thrilling forests of the Kaua'i mountainsides. They posed like Superman on the wires and Brady put the new GoPro to good use!
Fun Fact: Most of the areas we zipped over were used as filming locations for all the Jurassic Park movies!
We closed the day with a boat ride that included Mai Tais, a drowsy Brady, whale watching, and stunning sunsets.
We ended our Hawaiin trip on Thursday with a (semi)relaxing day of paddleboarding and PiƱa Coladas. The semi part comes from us nearly killing ourselves trying to get past the opening current.
As great as it's been, we have to say Aloha (the good-bye version) to Kaua'i and head towards uncharted territory. Next stop...
